Data kept on your device
To remember your place and your work, the reader saves the following in your browser's local storage: your last page in each Mushaf, bookmarks, mistake marks, annotations, settings (such as dark mode and Tajweed colours), and whether you have seen the quick tour.
This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. It stays in the browser where it was created, so it does not move to another device. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
If you install the app, your browser also keeps copies of pages and files you have opened, so they can open without a connection. They are removed if you clear the site's data or uninstall the app.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits, so we know which pages are used. It does not use cookies or local storage, and it does not track you across websites. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. Like any web server, it receives technical information needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address and browser type. We do not use this information to identify you.
If you email us
If you write to us, we receive your email address and your message, and use them only to reply. We do not share them.
Children
The site collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
